Description

Bah 'u'll h describes The Hidden Words as a distillation of the spiritual guidance contained in the successive Revelations of God.

Shoghi Effendi called it Bah 'u'll h's pre-eminent ethical work. The Hidden Words is written in the form of a collection of short aphorisms in which Bah ʼu'll h claims to have taken the basic essence of certain spiritual truths and written them in brief form.

Bah ʼ's are advised by ʻAbdu'l-Bah , Bah ʼu'll h's son and the authorized interpreter of his teachings, to read them every day and every night and to implement their latent wisdom into their daily lives. He also said that The Hidden Words is "a treasury of divine mysteries" and that when one ponders its contents, "the doors of the mysteries will open.

New Hope for American Art was authored, designed and published by James M. Alterman, an expert in the field of Pennsylvania Impressionist and Modernist painting. A longtime collector and owner of two fine art galleries, Alterman wanted to create a user-friendly book intended not only to educate collectors and enthusiasts about this art but to help train one's eye. The book offers valuable tips on how to avoid common mistakes often experienced by new collectors drawn from the author's personal experiences as a collector and fine art dealer.
