Intorcandu-ma din padure, jucandu-ma cu cainii pe cararea ce coboara spre livada din spatele surii, imi spuneam ca daca ar fi sa iti trimit un scurt mesaj prin care sa iti transmit esenta a tot ceea ce stiu si tot ceea ce simt, printr-un porumbel calator, de peste timp, de aici, din munti, din ultima comuna, din ultimul sat, din ultimul catun, de pe ultimul drum, de la ultima casa de la marginea padurii muntelui, ti-as scrie doar atat:

Se intampla uneori, dar in zadar, sa cautam dincolo de noi si ale noastre, peste mari si tari, ceea ce avem dintotdeauna acasa. O casuta frumoasa din lemn, lavita din tarnat, cuptorul de paine, catei si pisoi, izvoare si paduri, copilul care-ai fost si o multime de noi prieteni, milioane de stele si cerul, potecile si vaile muntilor, undeva la tara... toate te asteapta "
